I update my site and create my layouts with Notepad or cPanel's editor. I am hosted by Asmallorange.com, and I make my graphics and stuff with Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8.

About the Webmiss

My name is Sarah, and I'm old. I'm the oldest of 6 kids, and I like playing piano, listening to music, being in plays, and drawing.

I started this site after I saw the first few episodes of Avatar back in March, 2005. This website has taught me soooo much over the years. I've invested a lot of time in my little Airbender.net and I'm very proud of my work!

Site History

This site was launched March 19, 2005, at Freewebs. It was the first website I ever got Premium Hosting for. Then I bought a domain name for it (my first domain ever!) on August 8, 2005. On December 2, 2005, I purchased hosting at A Small Orange and left Freewebs. You can see in the next section just how much ABN has changed over the years!

Past Layouts

I change the look of the site once every six months to a year. On this page you can see all my old ones! Although I never screencapped a lot of the older layouts, you can still see the banners.

Penguin Sledding 1 - March 19, 2005
Before I got my domain name, Airbender.net was actually called "Penguin Sledding...and other fun stuff!" This was my very first layout ever, with simple text navigation under the banner and a blue-gray table holding the content.

Penguin Sledding 1.5 - April 1, 2005 (?)
I made the first banner using DH's screencaps (which no longer exist). They weren't top-notch quality, so with the opening of Avatarfans.net (also no longer has screencaps) I re-did the banner with better images.

Penguin Sledding 2 - May 15, 2005 (?)
My second layout. Used a pink-ish color theme, with purple-ish mountains as background. Navigation was on the left, still text links.

Airbender.net 1 - August 8, 2005
The first layout for my domain name!! ^__^ Everything was yellow/gold and white. The navigation was on the left side again, but used an image instead of text. This is the first time I added all the new pages, too-- including fanvids!

Later I edited Aang out because I thought it looked better without him.

Airbender.net 2 - December 9, 2005
I looooved this banner. I was so proud of it. =D Well for the winter I made this dark-ish themed layout, with images mostly from the all-new season (one) finale.

Airbender.net 3 - April 22, 2006
This was another turning point for me, I changed all the pages to PHPs instead of HTMs which makes future layout changes WAY easier. It was so pink and fluffy for spring. XD

Airbender.net 4 - October 4, 2006
Probably my favorite layout so far. :D I used a cool dropdown menu that I never did before, and I was quite proud of this banner... =]

Airbender.net 5 - June 23, 2007
A pretty neat layout that had the niftiest glow-up buttons. Too bad it looked really bad in Firefox. XD Unfortunately this layout was up for a whole year, and I got really sick of the yellow, but I didn't have time to make a new one.

A Message to Stealers

You are bad. Do not steal my graphics or I will tell my brother to cut your head off with a lightsaber. Mwahaha. (And he WILL do it!)

But seriously, please no direct linking my images. That's stealing my bandwidth, which costs a rather lot. And also don't claim that any of my images are your own, that's even worse! If you want to use someone's fanart/graphics for something, remember that you need to ask the person that created them.
